PLANNING
We do random sampling of the 100 men and women aged 60 and over who live in each country.
And the questionnaire of IESR, MMSE, and PTGI is performed to them, and epidemiology analysis is conducted about the relation of PTSD and dementia.
With them, in addition to a questionnaire, we interview them and clarify the relevant factors of PTSD and dementia.
STRATEGY
RESULTS
Maturity of old age can be accomplished by being concerned how with others, helping each other in their everyday life, and also accepting self growth, even if it is elderly people with an expensive score of PTSD.
And the elderly people who can recognize self growth prove that a possibility of getting dementia is low.
As a result, we clarify the means which will prevent dementia in the future.
Our study group investigates the disease rate of dementia and PTSD by that of the person aged 60 and over who lives in Sri Lanka, the Dominican Republic, and Japan.
And what about percent will be dementia in the future among the persons whose possibility of PTSD was high, or we will perform retrospective cohort study.
